The image shown at left is an original creation of mine. I modeled it after a style of 15th century manuscript illumination which makes heavy use of acanthus leaves and the red and blue color scheme.

The arms depicted on the shield are my arms within the SCA - per fess indented argent and sable, a demi-dragon issuant from the line of division gules.
